Next New

With all the different kinds of new media available today, one may wonder, what's next? I think it'd be really cool if there was 3d video chatting.mthe whole reason people choose video chatting over phone calls is because it feels more like you're with that person at that moment. By making this 3d, it'll feel even more realistic! :)

  1. I think this would be a great idea. It could be something like a hologram that is projected from our phones. This will definitely be possible in the future, I hope.

  2. Having a 3-D implementation of your friend near you would be as close as you can get to the real thing. That would be great for long distance friendships!

  3. I love the idea. My entire family lives overseas and it could be very nice to have a feature like this to video chats.

  4. Sounds good to have something in 3D, it will bring happiness and exacting moments. For those people that have not seen them to each other in a long time.

  5. that sounds like a great idea. it would be much more personal, as if the person was actually in the room with you. although it would be hard to create, i believe it is possible.

  6. I wish this were real right now. Countless people would greatly benefit from it, from people in long distance relationships to those who are away from their families for any reason. I'd love to see the new iPhone or a new Android device roll this kind of thing out.

  7. They say within the next 5 years, every single movie will be in 3D in the theatre... it's only a matter of time before we get 3D video chatting!

  8. That would be great for relationships. Oh that reminds me of the "TeleHuman" article I was reading about a few days ago when they use Microsoft Kinect to beam an image into a pod that displays a life sized 3d representation of the person.

  9. 3-D video chatting would be extremely cool, but I wonder how much the 3D technology will have to evolve for users to not have to use the glasses. I think we'd all look pretty silly staring at each other with some funky glasses on.
